Steven Dean Krotzer
Steven Dean Krotzer, 68, of Akeley, MN died on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his home.
Steven was born on January 31, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Dean and Beverly (Stinson) Krotzer. He grew up in St. Bonifacious, MN where he attended school. He was united in marriage to Karen Sue Murphy on June 24, 1972 at Waconia, MN. And later moved to Mound, MN where he started his family. Later he moved to Little Fork, MN where he raised horses and lived off the land. Two years later hey moved to Akeley, Minnesota ("The Hill") where he built his house and raised his family. He worked at Wood Lake Sanitation for four years before starting his own business, Wood Art Specialty Gun Cabinets for over a decade. He then built and operated the Dungeon Museum at the Renaissance (Festivals) in Colorado and Arizona, which the family still runs today. He was a devoted Christian. He enjoyed scuba Diving, horseback riding, Motorcycles, trapping and tanning, hunting, raising dogs, 3 wheeling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife - Karen Krotzer of Akeley, MN; Three children - Angie (Kevin) Gentry, Willie Krotzer, Mandy (Josh) Collins, 5 grandchildren - Jett, Serena, Luke, Alex, and Lillian.
His mother - Beverly and eight siblings - Jim (Kathy) Krotzer, Bruce (Cheryl) Krotzer, Rick (Beth) Krotzer, Sally Krotzer, Jane Hall Krotzer, Sam Krotzer, Peter (Sharon) Krotzer, Deana Krotzer.
He was preceded in death by his father - Dean Krotzer.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Akeley United Methodist Church of Akeley, MN. Friends may leave online condolences at ceasefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are being handled by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids, MN and Nevis, MN.
