Gerard (Jerry) Francis Wyman

Gerard (Jerry) Francis Wyman

His lengthy battle with cancer over, Jerry quietly passed away in the early morning hours of April 17, 2018.

Jerry was born in Cloquet MN on July 4th, 1960 while on a family camping trip to Holyoke Park. Jerry loved all things fishing related and treasured trips to "secret lake" with select friends and family. Hunting and camping were among his favorite activities, as well as flea marketing - both selling and buying.

Jerry was best of all a handyman and could accomplish anything he set out to do. There were very few subjects that Jerry didn't know something about. He spent a number of years working for Bullyan Homes setting up new houses. In recent years Jerry spent time as a caretaker for his stepdad while selling at flea markets in the Nevis and Park Rapids area and attending Allis-Chalmers tractor shows.

Waiting for Jerry are his parents Richard and Audrey Wyman, sisters Mollie Ashworth, Ellen Biskey, Mary Vanderpoel, and Patsy Wyman.

Jerry is survived by his God-daughter Michelle DeLong and granddaughter Val who were the light of his life. Jerry loved teaching his little Valentina to fish! He will be missed by all.

Jerry is survived by siblings Allan Wyman, Teresa Wyman, Brigid (Mark) LaPlante, Barb (Steve Sather) Wyman, Dan (Lori) Wyman, Henry (Linda) Wyman, John Wyman, Sarah (Jerry) Loss, Susan (Gary) Zahradka, and step-father Elfie Johanson and his children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jerry's life at 2:00pm, Sunday May 20, 2018 at the Downtown Fair Center, 107 W. 7th Ave., Floodwood, MN 55736.
